Bridging science and cuisine, this cutting-edge kitchen empowers seamless collaboration between chefs and researchers to bring bold new products to life.

PROJECT DETAILS

The Culinary Innovation Center was designed to enhance collaboration between PepsiCo’s on-site chefs and neighboring research and product development teams within their Global R&D campus. This purpose-built space connects the technical precision of lab work with the creativity of culinary exploration, accelerating the creation of new tastes, textures, and food experiences.

A state-of-the-art kitchen anchors the space, outfitted with commercial-grade appliances, flexible prep zones, and strategically placed workstations that promote fluid interaction between culinary and scientific teams. Direct access between the labs and kitchen allows for rapid prototyping, immediate feedback, and real-time refinement of new products.

The layout emphasizes transparency and collaboration, with thoughtfully designed areas for ideation, hands-on testing, and team engagement. By removing barriers between disciplines, the Culinary Innovation Center supports an agile innovation process and reinforces PepsiCo’s commitment to delivering bold, consumer-driven products.
