Two academic buildings, one cohesive vision—upgraded spaces that align with campus standards and support accessibility, comfort, and modern university life.

PROJECT DETAILS

Thomas Maes Liberal Arts Building

The renovation of the second floor of the Thomas Maes Liberal Arts Building focused on modernizing 44 faculty offices and adjacent corridors. Our team provided full architectural and engineering services, addressing functionality as well as ADA compliance. Upgrades included improvements to restrooms, signage, door hardware, and other accessibility-related features. Construction documents were developed in alignment with both Texas State University System and Lamar University standards to ensure consistency and quality.

Edwin Hayes Biology Building

At the Edwin Hayes Biology Building, our team delivered architectural and engineering design services for the renovation of 16 offices and surrounding corridors on the first and second floors. The project scope involved selective demolition and reconstruction of faculty offices, hallways, and a darkroom on the second floor. Like the Maes Building renovation, all construction documentation followed Texas State University System and Lamar University guidelines, ensuring a coordinated and compliant design approach across campus facilities.
