With speed, safety, and flexibility in mind, our team delivered fully operational temporary classrooms in time for students to return—ensuring education could continue without compromise.
PROJECT DETAILS
In preparation for the fall 2020 semester, the University faced an urgent challenge: providing safe, physically distanced learning environments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. To supplement the existing classroom inventory and support in-person instruction, the University sought to install a series of high-quality temporary classroom structures across campus.
Our team was engaged to deliver a complete turn-key solution—including design, permitting, and construction—for a specified number of tent structures. These structures were selected for their ability to be rapidly deployed, while still meeting critical requirements for comfort, safety, and accessibility. The accelerated timeline demanded efficient coordination across disciplines to ensure all classrooms were in place and ready for use prior to the start of the semester in August 2020.
By working closely with University stakeholders and local authorities, our team was able to meet tight deadlines and evolving health guidelines while providing students and faculty with safe, functional, and well-ventilated learning spaces during a critical time of transition.
