Excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of the City of Houston’s Holcombe Lab Expansion Project — a significant milestone for public health research and community resilience.
The new building, currently referred to as the BSL-2 Lab, will be constructed adjacent to the existing facility at 2250 Holcombe Blvd. Once complete, this expanded space will support critical research on emerging diseases in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This work will strengthen Houston’s ability to respond to public health challenges and enhance our region’s scientific capacity.
A big thank you to our incredible project partners who are making this important facility a reality:
City of Houston, Telios Corporation, MWL Architects, Dally + Associates, Clark Condon, Datacom, and Project Cost Resources Inc.
Proud to be part of a team committed to improving the health and safety of our community.
