For this client, Johnston was tasked with two locations. The Richardson project reimagined a former Fossil headquarters and warehouse into a dynamic, light-filled corporate office and call center for GEICO. Designed with flexibility and long-term scalability in mind, the transformed facility can now accommodate over 2,000 associates. The open-plan layout promotes collaboration and transparency while fostering a campus-like atmosphere that reflects GEICO’s energetic culture and evolving workforce needs.
Speed was essential. Our team delivered a fast-track design that allowed GEICO to complete a major relocation from their Dallas office to Richardson on an accelerated timeline, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption for employees.
In Katy, a parallel renovation project involved the interior build-out of half of an existing two-story building. Like the Richardson site, this location is primarily devoted to call center operations and office space, tailored to meet the demands of high-volume communication and support services. Both projects support GEICO’s national infrastructure and growing footprint in Texas
