Lyubo Stanev is a seasoned BIM and IT professional with a real passion for emerging tech. As a key part of Johnston’s design team, he leads the charge on integrating BIM technology across projects—making sure everything runs smoothly and fits within the firm’s workflows.
Widely recognized as a go-to expert in BIM, Lyubo brings a mix of deep knowledge and practical tools that help streamline design coordination and boost project delivery.
Outside of Johnston, Lyubo also shares his expertise as an Associate Professor of Practice in Multidisciplinary Engineering at Texas A&M University.
He holds a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia.
