Designing a forward-looking master plan to guide Ben Taub Hospital’s growth, infrastructure, and patient care for the next decade.
PROJECT DETAILS
Johnston is providing architectural services to provide master planning services for the Hospital campus. Johnston is providing Site Master Plan Options, high-level analyses of Civil, MEP Infrastructure requirements, evaluation of two Central Plant Mechanical growth strategies, pedestrian and automotive site circulation studies, key growth area stacking diagrams, soil analysis in the key future building locations, high level budget and phasing/schedule strategies, departmental growth projections for key departments identifying 5-10 year needs and a traffic analysis study for site access and circulation.
Phase Two includes providing recommendations for future utilization of services, including support for additional inpatient beds, OR’s, imaging including recommended projections for Emergency Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Inpatient Beds, and Infusion. Priorities will be identified for implementation of the Master Plan, for a five to ten-year time span. Phase Three will include the implementation of the capital improvements including the cost estimating, budgeting and final recommendations.
